DIMAPUR — Shiroi Shaiza Sanyu of NagaEd has been included in this year's list of Meaningful Business 100 (MB100)—a list of global leaders combining profit and purpose to address the most pressing issues in the world.
NagaEd is the only company from northeast India to be recognised on this list.
A press note mentioned that the leading award in the profit and purpose space celebrates outstanding business leaders helping to achieve the United Nations’ global goals and the fifth edition had 833 nominations from 93 countries.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]The year-round MB100 programme, supported by EY, Hogan Lovells, and Babson College, is designed to help these inspiring leaders increase their positive impact through pro bono services, tailored workshops, expert mentorship, storytelling, and exclusive networking opportunities.
Commenting on the 2023 MB100, Tom Lytton-Dickie, founder and CEO of Meaningful Business, said that leaders like Shaiza provide a benchmark in the profit and purpose space.
Reflecting on the honour, Shaiza, co-founder of NagaEd, stated that the recognition is a call to action for all businesses and that by intertwining NagaEd’s core operations with societal upliftment, they are not only serving communities but also ensuring NagaEd's sustained growth in an ever-evolving landscape.
The award was judged by a panel of 29 experts. Each nominee was evaluated in five categories: durability, impact, innovation, leadership, and scope.
