Naga wrestlers claim 10 medals so far at Pune nationals

[caption id="attachment_180946" align="alignnone" width="550"] Menuosetuo Yiese.[/caption] Dimapur, May 4 (EMN): Reigning Naga style wrestling champion Menuosetuo Yiese downed Ibrahim of Telangana to take the gold in the over-87 kg category of the ongoing 6th National Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Championship at Pune on Friday. According to updates made available by Nagaland Wrestling Association's (NWA) general secretary, Vekhozo Chakhesang, the state has won seven gold medals, two silver, and a bronze so far. The gold medal winners are Menuosetuo Yiese, Kevikhrietuo Chusi, Kekhriekuolie Khawakhire, Kedalung Kapeung, Bongtang Phom, Kudupoi Nakro, Kusayi Tsutso. Silver medallists are  Vehuto Nakro and Visedelhou Chusi and a bronze medal from Shezovi Therie. The final results were yet to be declared at the time this report was going to press. The championship will conclude on May 5. Fourteen wrestlers representing the NWA are taking part in said championship.
