DIMAPUR — Rising Naga rap artiste Yung-E has officially released his latest single ‘3 AM in K TOWN’ featuring Maxximum.
An update issued on Saturday informed that the song dives deep into raw emotion, unfiltered perspectives, and hard-hitting storytelling, marking a bold entry into India’s ever-evolving hip-hop scene.
With drill rap steadily carving its space in India, “3 AM in K TOWN” stands out not just for its fierce beat and gritty production, but also for Yung-E’s decision to embrace Hindi—a language not often represented in Naga rap.
This groundbreaking move bridges cultural and linguistic boundaries, positioning Yung-E as a fresh voice from Nagaland with a national vision, the update informed.

Speaking about the track, Yung-E shared, “This song is about honesty, about confronting the realities that people usually hide. It’s raw, it’s emotional, and it’s me exposing my truth through music.”
“3 AM in K TOWN” is now streaming on all major platforms and the music video is out now on YouTube, accompanied by a powerful music video that visually matches the intensity of the song.
The song is said to be produced by Ket Meth and directed by Macnivil with Neisaho Noho as the co-director and Nchum Patton as the DOP.
The recording, mixing and mastering of the song was done in Nestvibe Studio.
