Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): Naga performer Alobo Naga is set to release a new music video ‘Together we can,’ or ‘Milikena Hatabo’ in Nagamese, featuring other musicians and performers at around 7 pm on Monday.
The music video features more than 50 other performers from the Nagamese film industry, and comedians, singers, and two former Miss Nagaland winners, among others.
The local musician took to Facebook and posted updates to announce the video.
Speaking to Eastern Mirror, Naga said the entire song, from its lyrics to the music and recording, took several days. He collected the video clips from participating members and edited the video.
Revealing the idea and focus of the song, Naga said the song is an attempt at spreading awareness among the people that they should take preventive measures against the coronavirus or Covid-19. He added that the music video aimed also at helping inspire people to spend the lockdown in a positive way.
The uniqueness of the video, Naga said, is that it is a compilation of videos shot at home on a mobile phone by each of the members.
The three minute and forty-three second music video was edited and mastered at NewLife Studio in Dimapur.
