DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will be organising an orientation programme for its party leaders and legislators at the party’s central office on February 23.
According to a press release, the programme, on the theme "Insights on government departmental activities and the constructive role of party leaders", aims to enhance understanding of government functions and strengthen the role of party leaders in supporting developmental initiatives.

According to an update, the programme will feature two sessions. The first session will include Hekani Jakhalu Kense, Advisor of Industries and Commerce; Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor of New and Renewable Energy and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority; Wangpang Konyak, Advisor of Social Welfare; Tongpang Ozukum, Advisor of Water Resources; and Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor of School Education and State Council of Educational Research and Training.
The second session will feature G Kaito Aye, Minister of Road and Bridges; KG Kenye, Minister of Power and Parliamentary Affairs; and CL John, Minister of Forest and Environment.
The introductory note will be delivered by Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and Secretary General of NPF. The programme will be moderated by Merentoshi R Jamir, Vice President, and the proceedings will be recorded by Atou Liezietsu, Press Secretary.
