Highlighting the party’s ideology, he reiterated that the NPF stands for inclusiveness and unity, committed to progress and development not only in Nagaland but across the entire Northeast region.
President of the NPF Minority Wing, Bishnu Bhattacharjee, extended appreciation to both minority and central leaders of the party for embracing one another and fostering peaceful co-existence.
He emphasised that NPF is the only regional party in Northeast which has a clear and approved space for non-Naga political leaders under a specially designed minority wing within its constitution, making it truly inclusive and secular.
He stated that the wing was created to address issues and concerns relevant to minority voters at the platform of politics and contribute to state building.
Reaffirming the wing’s full support for the party leadership, Bhattacharjee assured that all ranks and files of the minority wing shall abide by the NPF constitution and continue working with dedication under the leadership of MLA Azo Nienu, MLA Achumbemo Kikon, and NPF President Apong Pongener.
A fourteen-member central team of the minority wing participated in the meeting.
