DIMAPUR — The
Naga People’s Front (NPF) has condoled the demise of Rev. Khrütsoyi Lürüo, the
elder brother of its working president, Pusazo Lürüo.
It stated that Rev. Lürüo was a man of great faith,
leadership and dedication to his community who had served as the executive
secretary of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) and as the state
chaplain.
It added that his contributions to both the church and the
wider society were immeasurable and his legacy of service would continue to
inspire many for years to come.
It has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members
and prayed for peace for the departed soul.
CL John: In a statement, the Minister of Environment, Forest
and Climate Change, Village Guards, CL John, described Rev. K Lürüo as a
committed, God-fearing Christian religious leader.
“During his entire span of life, he was proved, undoubtedly
one of the sincere, dedicated and committed Christian religious leaders in his
own capacity with integrity and vast wisdom,” CL John said.
The minister added that his untiring voluntary services to
church ministry, society and individuals would be remembered by one and
all.
He has further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family
members and prayed for peace of the departed soul.
KG Kenye: The Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs,
KG Kenye, in a condolence note, said that with Lürüo’s demise, people have lost
a faithful servant of God who dedicated most of his life to serving society and
the ministry of God.
“On his passing, he leaves behind a rich legacy that will
continue to guide and inspire the future generation. His demise is a huge loss
to the Chakhesang Community in particular and the Naga society in general,” he
said, adding that his family joins in extending sincerest condolences to the
bereaved family at this difficult time of sorrow.
Kudecho Khamo: The Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho
Khamo, described Lürüo as a faithful servant of God and an educationist who
served as the executive secretary of CBCC, education secretary of NBCC, state
chaplain of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, and advisor to the Chakhesang
Baptist Church Minister's Hill Kohima until his passing.
In a condolence note, he said that Lürüo was a man of high
integrity, with an unshakeable faith rooted deeply in the word of God, and that
he selflessly dedicated his life to serving God and humanity.
Stating that his demise is a great loss not only to the
Chakhesang community but also to Naga society as a whole, which will be
difficult to fill, he added that his legacy and good works will continue to
inspire and motivate people towards achieving his vision, especially for God's
mission.
