Naga lad triumphs at national spot painting contest

DIMAPUR — Puchio Herrick P, who represented Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Tuensang, won the national championship title at the national level spot painting competition 2023.

Puchio made the achievement during the EMRS National Cultural Fest 2023, which was held from October 3 to the 6th in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The event was organised by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, stated a DIPR report.

It stated that Puchio's talent and artistic prowess were showcased on a national stage and emerged victorious among a pool of exceptionally talented participants from across the country.

The Nagaland team comprising 19 enthusiastic students and two dedicated teachers showcased their cultural and artistic talents at the event by demonstrating the rich cultural diversity and creativity of the state.
