  • DIMAPUR — The Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima (NHAK) has informed that there have been multiple incidents of theft involving property belonging to the NHAK, in and around the hospital premises.

  • “Of particular concern is the repeated theft of copper wires connecting the grounding system to the CT Scan machine. This incident has occurred twice recently and has significantly delayed the long-anticipated commissioning of the CT scan service.

  • “Such acts are not only a serious nuisance but also disrupt essential public health service delivery,” the NHAK stated in a press release.

  • According to the hospital, an FIR in this regard was filed at the South Police Station, Kohima, on April 19.

  • “The public is kindly requested to assist by providing any information that may help identify the culprits. Your cooperation is also solicited to prevent such incidents in the future and to safeguard critical healthcare infrastructure,” the release added.
