- DIMAPUR — The Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima
(NHAK) has informed that there have been multiple incidents of theft involving
property belonging to the NHAK, in and around the hospital premises.
- “Of particular concern is the repeated theft of copper wires
connecting the grounding system to the CT Scan machine. This incident has
occurred twice recently and has significantly delayed the long-anticipated
commissioning of the CT scan service.
- “Such acts are not only a serious nuisance but also disrupt
essential public health service delivery,” the NHAK stated in a press release.
- According to the hospital, an FIR in this regard was filed
at the South Police Station, Kohima, on April 19.
- “The public is kindly requested to assist by providing any
information that may help identify the culprits. Your cooperation is also
solicited to prevent such incidents in the future and to safeguard critical
healthcare infrastructure,” the release added.
