Dimapur, Aug. 19 (EMN): The Naga Students' Forum of Mangalore (NSFM) organised its 11th fresher’s meet to welcome the new batch of Naga students' to Mangalore at Roshni Nilaya, School of Social work in Mangalore on Sun. Aug 19.
The event was attended by Advocate Praveen Pinto as the chief guest. Pinto in his address to the Naga student community in Mangalore accentuated on the importance of using the power of law instead of brute force and violence and advised the students to inculcate a sense of discipline. He wished the students success in their future endeavours and reminded them that there was no shortcut to success.
Advocate Girish, Time of India Reporter Kevin Medonsa and All People’s Church Pastor Paul also attended the programme.
Principal K Pandyarajah Ballal College of Nursing and the advisor to Naga Student Forum Mangalore, Kaini Cecilia introduced the chief guest to the congregation. Christy Shimray D’Souza exhorted to the students committee and the presidential address was delivered by. Elishan Yanthan.
The day was marked with performances by the students.
The Mr. and Miss Fresher's 2018 NSFM were bagged by Thanpam Kasomhung from St. Aloysius College and Imlisenla Imchen from Nitte University.
