Naga darters win prizes at Summer Darts Championship

Naga darters along with the prizes won at the 9th Bengal Rowing Club Summer Darts Open Championship 2023 held in Kolkata, West Bengal.

DIMAPUR— Darters from Nagaland have won various prizes  in the recently concluded 9th Bengal Rowing Club (BRC) Summer Darts Open Championship 2023 held at Kolkata, West Bengal.

The BRC Summer Darts Open Championship, one of the biggest darts tournaments in India, was jointly organised by the Bengal Rowing Club (BRC), Darts Association of Bengal and Indian Darts Council from June 30 to July 2 at Kolkata, West Bengal.

All together, 210 participants from across India and Malaysia registered for the championship.

The Nagaland team was represented by Vikehelie Suohu, Kezhaletuo Semou, Neibeizothie Philip Solo and Oto Angami, in the various categories.

Vikehelie Suohu with Jacqueline Khanna from West Bengal won runner-up in mixed doubles; joint third in open doubles with Shailender Dixit; joint third in draw doubles with Oto Angami and joint fifth in men's Singles

Oto Angami won joint third in draw doubles with Vikehelie Suohu.

Kezhaletuo Semou won joint third in Indian Darts League Team event with Team Trihoot Tuskers, Kolkata.

Neibeizothie Philip Solo won the most promising player award.
