Naga Council expresses gratitude

Dimapur, Jan. 28: The Naga Council Dimapur had expressed gratitude to the volunteers and members of public ‘for the overwhelming support and participation for the successful observation of the first day bandh called by joint coordination committee (JCC).’ “We also commend para military force, law enforcing agencies, administration and volunteers for conducting themselves well and for remaining peaceful throughout the day. Naga Council Dimapur manifest total peace and harmony. Therefore, expect that the same peaceful spirit be maintained at all cost from all parties concern. NCD further expects more solicitation, participation and cooperation from the public for the largest interest of the Naga's in the remaining days of the bandh as well,” read an NCD statement on Saturday.
