Dimapur June 17 (EMN): A two-day ‘Naga consultative meeting on political settlement’ was held under the aegis of the Naga Scholars’ Association (NSA) in Dimapur on June 15 and 16th which was participated by the Naga intellectuals, leaders, and civil society groups.
In a press release from the NSA on Sunday, it stated that the main topics addressed in the meeting were, strengthening civil society groups, dialoguing with neighbouring communities and people, and addressing the challenges of the political negotiated settlement. After a meticulous assessment of the given themes,
many challenges were also identified for addressing them, it stated.
The press release also stated that these initiatives would be crucial for addressing the challenges related to the process of Naga political negotiated settlement and said that it was unanimously decided that the initiative should continue to achieve the desired objective.
The association also added that the thrust of the meeting was to assess and address the issues and concerns in the wake of the Naga political negotiation entering the final stage.
