DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 14: The All India Naga Christian Fellowship Conclave for this year was held in the Naga Community Hall of Shillong in Meghalaya. The event was conducted from September 9 to the 11th, a press release from the organizers informed on Wednesday.
Rev.P Bonny Resu, general secretary of the Asia Pacific Baptist Federation, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council, and Rev. Andrew Semp, director of the Nagaland Missions Movement were the speakers of the event, the organizers stated.
NCF pastors and leaders from Ahmednagar, Aizawl, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Puducherry, Pune, Shillong, and Vellore, among others attended the event, it was informed.
A senior politician also addressed the event. CL John Konyak, minister for Rural Development and REPA “exhorted the congregation on Sunday and reminded the Nagas that our identity came from Christianity therefore we should uphold its values in whatever profession we are involved in,” the note informed.
The conclave was hosted by the NCF of Shillong. It was resolved that the next conclave would be conducted in Nagaland.
