Arsenba Ozukum beat Maharashtra's representative in the semi-final by decision and Delhi's in the final by technical knockout to win the pinweight (54kgs) championship for the state. Mairidin Newmai won his first round featherweight (66kgs) bout against an opponent from Uttarkand by technical knockout but came up short and lost his quarter-final fight against Uttar Pradesh's representative by decision. Kekhrieneitso Angami beat Telangana's representative in the quarters by second round submission (standing guillotine), Delhi's in the semi-finals by submission (rear naked choke) and Maharashtra's representative in the finals by submission (rear naked choke) to win the lightweight (70kgs) championship for the state. He also won the best fighter award and also best submission of the tournament for his standing guillotine in his first fight.
