Naga artiste Opang Jamir releases new single ‘Sorojungla’

DIMAPUR — Opang Jamir has unveiled his latest single, ‘Sorojungla (Beautiful Woman)’, on his official YouTube channel OpangJamir on Saturday.

An update issued on Saturday informed that the track would be available on Spotify from November 7.

Best known as the frontman of the Nagaland-based band Avancer and one-half of the pop duo ‘The Twin Effect’, Jamir continues to shape his individual sound with this new solo release, highlighting his ongoing artistic growth.

‘Sorojungla (Beautiful Woman)’ is said to be a gentle yet rhythmic ode to feminine beauty, sung in the rich melodies of Ao dialect.

Through poetic lines like ‘Your beauty illuminates the world’ and ‘The stars and moon enhance your radiance,’ the song praises a women whose beauty, kindness and gentle voice that lights up the world. Using simple and beautiful images from nature like stars, the moon, the breeze, and the blooming rose, the song portrays beauty that brightens the world and inspires admiration.
