Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): National awardees, national merit certificate holders, State awardees and prominent handicraft artisans of Nagaland are invited to submit willingness application with complete address and contact number for participation in ‘Bharatheeva Sanskriti Dharshan’ to be held at the premises of South Zone Cultural Centre, Dakshini, Medical College Road, Thanjavur- 613004 from September 10 to 25.
Senior Assistant Director of Handicraft Service Centre, Office of the Development Commissioner (H), T Rollee Vareishim stated that a panel of 10 best artisans for exhibition-cum-sales and demonstration of cultural based handicrafts, who are willing to represent Nagaland State, would be recommended on first come first basis. He further stated that travelling expenses of the artisans would be paid by South Zone Cultural Centre as per the prescribed norms of the Ministry of Culture.
The stall 12x12 will be provided with nominal food expenses to the 10 participating artisans.
