- DIMAPUR — In the wake of the recent chaos and
confusion at the Naga Unification Camp in Khehoi, five more commands and units
of the Naga Army under the GPRN/NSCN (Unification) have declared their support for
the leadership of President Gen. (Retd.) MB Neokpao Konyak and Ato Kilonser
Alezo Venuh “till the aspiration of the Naga people is materialised”.
- In a press statement, the group claimed that the Naga Army
commands and units include the Ao Region Command, led by Commander Col.
Tongpangnungshi and Second-in-Command Lieut. Takoklimba; the Sumi Region
Command, led by Commander Col. Hoikhu Zhimomi and Second-in-Command Maj. Vika
Aye; the Lotha Region Command, led by Commander Col. Mhachan and Second-in-Command
Lieut. Maj. Thungro; the Chakhesang Region Command, led by Commander Lieut.

Col. Sheveyi and Second-in-Command Cap. Chevosa; and the Angami Region Command,
led by Commander Col. Pitovi.
