Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Two Naga archers Kilenmeren and Kevikieno who represented India bagged a Gold and Bronze medal respectively in the individual olympic round at the recently concluded India-Bhutan Friendship Archery Championship in Bhutan.
Hunezo, state archer coach in a press release stated that archer Kilenmeren bagged three Gold medals and Kevikieno won one Gold and one Bronze medal held at Thimpu, Bhutan on June 16 and 17.
Kilenmeren bagged a gold medal in individual olympic round and he was also part of the team (India) that won gold medals in mixed and men team.
Kevikieno took bronze medal in individual olympic round and also a gold medal in women’s team.
In overall medal tally, India claimed seven medals, including five Golds, to claim the champion's title.
The event was part of celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between India and Bhutan by hosting a series of programmes, including sporting events.
