Wokha, Aug. 30 (EMN): A peer team of the national assessment and accreditation council (NAAC) visited at Mount Tiyi College in Wokha district on August 29 and 30 for assessment and enlisting the college in national standards and ranking.
NAAC team was led by Prof. Mohamad Iqbal Ali as chairperson, Prof. Ashan Riddi as member coordinator and Dr. Manish K Pandya as member.
On day one, the visiting team interacted with the students, checked infrastructures and rated on the basic amenities of the college.
The programme concluded on August 30 wherein a culmination programme was conducted in the college campus with teaching faculties, students and NACC team.
Prof. Mohamad Iqbal Ali congratulated the college authority, teaching faculties, students and college principle, Apeni Lotha, for their warm gesture. Ali has expressed admiration on the zeal of the teaching faculty to help the students and for the warm welcome accorded to the team.
In wishing the college to grow, he noted that Mount Tiyi College would one day achieve all round development. He also suggested the authority to invite more streams of curriculum besides Arts stream.
NACC team handed over the assessments result to the principal of Mount Tiyi College, Apeni Lotha. Prof. Mohamad Iqbal Ali informed that formal result would be declared officially later and greeted best wishes to the college.
