N Thorie is KYO wrestling champ

EMN KIGWEMA, JANUARY 16 Neisakhoto Thorie has emerged as the champion of the 76th Wrestling Meet of Kigwema village in a play-off held at Kholera Ground, Kigwema. Kekhrie Yhoshü was adjudged second while Teisovikho Thorie and Akhoto Kere won their place as the third and fourth best wrestlers of the village. Organized by the Kigwema Youth Organization (KYO), the event which began on Friday, concluded here this afternoon. Guest of honour of the closing function of the wrestling meet, Angami Youth Organization president Medo Yhokha exhorted sportspersons that they have a responsibility as ambassadors of integrity and humility and as such he underscored the importance for them to maintain discipline and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Earlier on Friday, the inaugural function of the two-day event was graced by Class-I Contractor, Thepfuzhalie Angami.
