Dimapur, Dec. 12: N.N. Nagi School today held its second annual day programme at the school premises at Nagarjan.
The students from preschool to Class 2 presented various cultural activities including songs, plays and an instrumental number with bells.
Lok Sabha MP Neiphiu Rio, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in his speech reflected on his own experiences as a student and appreciated N.N. Nagi School for being a school with a difference.
Rio stressed on the importance of building a healthy teacher-student relationship. He also acknowledged that teachers of N.N. Nagi School have developed a friendly and respectable relationship with their students which is why the students look forward to attending school every day.
Zhapuvilie Nagi, member of board of directors, chaired the programme while the invocation prayer was said by Rev. M Sakhrie, pastor, Kuda Baptist Church.
The programme concluded with the school anthem followed by the Lord’s prayer.
