Dimapur, Dec 13: The Myanmar-based Naga Traditional Literacy and Culture Central (NTLCC) has stated clarifications concerning a matter that is understood to be related to organizational credibility.
The executive committee of the (NTLCC) said to have met on December 11 in Khamti, a press release from the group stated on Tuesday. The organization then undertook resolutions “to clarify the confusions and doubts.” First, the press release stated, the press statement “regarding the chief minister’s trip to Myanmar issued on 3rd of December by NTLCC is genuinely the official statement of the NTLCC.” There was no elaboration on this in the press release.
Also, the group stated, a “statement of clarification that appeared on 9th of December in the name of NTLCC is fraud and NTLCC has no ownership over such a statement; the press statement clearly shows embezzlement of the name of NTLCC and deserves a serious condemnation whosoever has done it.” Further the group referred to one U Hla Phay who, the press release stated, “seems to take the ownership of NTLCC is mentioned as a founding member of NTLCC.” U Hla Phay “is nowhere in the history of Naga people recorded as a founding member of NTLCC,” the press release stated. “We hereby make this solemn confession that Eno Sanyone and Eno Khamo Kailon are the genuine founding members of this prestigious NTLCC,” it stated.
“The press statement misusing the name of NTLCC without the knowledge and authority of NTLCC EC issued on 9th of December 2016 shall never be repeated by any individual and NTLCC makes this serious warning that any of such in the near future for doing so shall be taken up with legal actions seriously,” it added.
The press release was appended by Aung Htut, president of the NTLCC.
