Lead Entertainment in collaboration with Audio Garage, Life Pro and Lineage is initiating “Musicians Guide to Sound check” on September 2, 2017 at Kohima Village Council Hall from 10 am to 2:30pm.
Informing this through a press note, the organisers came up with this innovative idea taking into deliberation, the art of sound check before any event or a concert which is something we all have been through.
“Getting into volume wars with band mates, telling the sound guy to do something so illogical which makes him go through embarrassing moments including an artist’s before/during a gig just because we messed up during our sound check . This situation brought us an idea to initiate such event”, stated the organiser’s.
This event, a non-profit concept with the sole purpose and the aim to benefit musicians and the Sound Engineers alike is also an open house to all including solo artists, bands, churches, schools, colleges and even offices.
Interested participants will be required to pay a minimal registration fee of Rs. 250 each which will include light refreshments, a pen and a notepad, informed the press note.
Local expertise in music business will grace the event as resource gurus -The Technical Boss – Atsung Jamir, The Live Sound Guru – Thejakielie Zuyie and The Shifu/The Master of the Biz – Khriezo Suokhrie.
