- DIMAPUR — The Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem (MTLT) has
congratulated Imnainla Jamir, a renowned guitarist from Nagaland, on being
conferred the ‘National Youth Icon Award’ on the auspicious occasion of the
National Youth Day celebrations in New Delhi on January 12.
- “Imnainla
Jamir is an epitome of talent giving wings to one’s dreams and future. Ever
since she spell-bounded and mesmerised the audience with her charm and guitar
recital of the national anthem during the 2022 Hornbill Festival, Imaninla
Jamir has made exceptional strides in the state, national and even
international levels. She is also the global ambassador of Master Peace COO
Leaders,” MTLT said.
- MTLT has
shared joy and satisfaction with Imnainla Jamir, a daughter and sister of Ungma
village and a resident of Mokokchung town, for bringing laurels to the Ao and
Naga community as a whole.
- It urged
the upcoming youngsters to take inspiration from Imnainla Jamir and hone their
God-given talent to achieve great things in life. It prayed that the
accomplishments of Imnainla Jamir and the due recognition that she received
would serve as an inspiration for the upcoming young Nagas in the days to come.
