The XXVII MusicFest organised by the Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA) youth department concluded on August 3 with an aura of reminiscence and enthusiastic love as the audiences were captivated by performances of various artists who stole the night's stage.
The event started with P Toshi Associate Pastor MTBA invoking God’s blessings.
The evening saw the amalgamation of different genre of music ranging from percussion to solo, from chorals to musical plays and from guitar recitals to pantomimes.
Temsuchuba, EAC Mokokchung exhorted the congregation through his life experiences and his humble and firm faith in God which has brought him this far while stressing on the importance of the kind of music that one choose.
Apart from performances by members of the MTBA youth department and its neighbouring churches, special invitees Zhavie Whourie, Inato Assumi, Alpine Blues and the crowd's favourite 'Tune Up Channel' mesmerised the spectators with their power-packed performances.
The tradition of giving away 'MusicFest' every year to four lucky persons added to the beauty of the event.
The MTBA Youth Department A & B youth fellowship closed the gala event with a confluence of music, dance and drama which moved the crowd leaving an exciting and longing imprint for next year's XXVIII MusicFest.
MusicFest organised by the MTBA youth department is the longest running annual event of the district.
