MTBA Creative Festival-4 held

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 2: The Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA) Creative Festival 4 under the Children Christian Ministry on the theme “Joy and creation” was held on August 1, 2016 where activities like painting, needle work and play dough modelling were part of the competitions. A total of 1679 children under the leadership of Mrs. Narosenla the superindendent of the CCE participated in the day long festival from all the associated fellowships of the church. In the painting competition, Bendangnaro (Arkong) was placed in the first position, while Obed (Medical) was declared the second winner and Tsukjensungla (Tongdentsuyong) in the third place. Salangtem bagged the 1st position in play dough modelling, while Kichutip and Aongza were declared second and third respectively. In the needle work competition, Salangtem group were the 1st, while Arkong group secured the 2nd position and Tongdentsuyong was declared the third. The Festival is held every year since 2013 in memory of Late.Mrs. Pangikala, the first children ministry teacher of the church. The trophies and the cash awards are sponsored by the late teacher’s children and grand children.
