Kohima, June 28 (EMN): Mt. Carmel Higher Secondary School (MCHSS) and Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School (MHBHSS) registered wins at the ongoing third Kohima District Inter-School Football Tournament, at the IG Stadium on Friday, June 28.
In the first match, MCHSS thrashed Mezhür Higher Secondary School 5-0. Kevinguzo scored two goals in the 21st and 27th minute, while the other two goals were scored by Razuovituo in the 33rd and 46th minute respectively for MCHSS. Bijay scored the first goal of the match in the 8th minute.
On the other hand Mezhür HSS failed to score a single goal throughout the match.
In the second match Ministers' Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School beat Government High School, New Market 4-0.
Toito Zhimomi scored the first goal in the 5th minute. The second goal came from the boot of Ahouji T Nyusou in the 9th minute.
The third and fourth goals were scored by P Sunglee Phom and Toshiakum Ozukum in the 36th and 39th minute respectively.
