Dimapur, Aug. 19 (EMN): The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) India Forum National Committee member, Bharatendu Mohapatra on Sunday said that MSME is undertaking an enterprise to create 2 cr. successful business platforms across the country. To achieve this, he said MSME will loan entrepreneurs upto INR 10 cr.
“We want to create jobs for at least 20 cr. people in India as soon as possible; for that MSME is the best way to achieve,” Mohapatra said during an interaction with
Eastern Mirror at Tourist Lodge in Dimapur on August 19.
He mentioned that the MSME team will undergo a selection process to choose an eligible candidate for the enterprise. Once a person is selected he/she will undergo training on the project of his or her choice.
Mohapatra maintained that once a person starts an enterprise it will give employment opportunities to others to work in the project. MSME will assist throughout the process of establishing a business and also help maintain them, he said. The MSME will assist individuals from the first stage after the selection.
He added the three points that MSME is focused about: it will support individual to start an enterprise, for which it will provide training too; it will assist individuals from processing raw materials to production and to marketing; and it will also provide raw materials if needed.
Asserting that the MSME will eradicate the problems of unemployment in India, Mohapatra revealed, “We are trying to implement MSME Committee all over the country in various levels: National, state, district, block, and panchayat.
He informed that any person in the country can register for this scheme through an MSME portal online. The portal will facilitate the candidates with effective entrepreneurship learning tools for creation of business plans.
