PFUTSERO — The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Promotion Council of India (MSME PCI), Phek district, conducted its inaugural LEAN Scheme awareness programme on August 2 at the MSME PCI hall in Pfutsero town.


According to an update from the organisers, the initiative aimed to empower local entrepreneurs, business owners, and stakeholders by introducing them to the principles and benefits of LEAN manufacturing.


The programme focused on practical strategies to reduce lead times, minimise operating costs, enhance product quality, and boost overall productivity.


“This marks a significant step in equipping local enterprises with the tools and knowledge necessary for efficiency-driven growth,” the organisers stated.

Aienla Longchar, State Deputy Vice Chairman (SDVC) of the MSME PCI in Nagaland, underscored the critical role of the LEAN Scheme in fostering industrial efficiency and sustainable growth across the region in her address.


Vezito Tetseo, District In-charge of the LEAN Scheme awareness programme, delivered a detailed presentation to sensitise the participants on the scheme's objectives and implementation.


The event was chaired by Kudukholu D Vadeo, with the welcome address delivered by Thujove Tunyi.


Around 60 participants attended the awareness programme.
