Dimapur, Nov.5 (EMN): Wokha district has achieved 96% coverage under the Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign as on Nov. 5. Out of the total targeted 18,374 children 17,680 has been vaccinated in the district, stated a press statement from the National Health Mission on Monday.
The Chief Medical Officer, Wokha has requested those children who missed the previous vaccines to avail the vaccine from health units including Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital, CHC Bhandari, CHC Sanis, PHCs and town sub-centre at CMO office.
Also, the District Health Society, health and family welfare department has congratulated the 28 Assam Rifles for achieving 100% in the first session itself. The society also thanked them for arranging fuel for medical department vehicles which were scheduled to cover the far flung areas for M-RVC on Nov. 3 and 4.
