Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): Kohima district has achieved a 64.39% in the ongoing measles-rubella vaccination campaign (MRVC) being undertaken in the state from Oct. 3.
The chief medical officer of Kohima, Dr. Ritu Thurr said that despite the apprehensions and hesitance created in the minds of the public through the rumours and false information about the vaccination, especially in the social media, the Kohima medical team has successfully vaccinated a total of 40,588 children as on Oct. 18.
Meanwhile, the Kohima CMO has informed that those “unvaccinated children can avail for vaccination in all Urban Sub Centres even during Puja holidays form 9:00 am to 4:00 pm”.
