Dimapur, Nov. 16 (EMN): The directorate of Health and Family Welfare has extended the measles rubella vaccination campaign (MRVC), which was scheduled to end on Nov. 17, by another 10 working days.
“All responsible parents are therefore requested to take your child, if still unvaccinated, to the nearest health facility (district hospital, CHC, PHC and sub-centre) at the earliest," read a statement from the department on Friday.
It stated that a total of 4,33,178 children have been vaccinated through 3,027 schools and 2,483 outreach sessions attaining a coverage percentage of 96.58%.
