Kohima, May 30 (EMN): MRH FC got their revenge as Zakie and Imti scored braces to beat MRH Sunrisers 4-1 at the Kohima local ground on Tuesday morning. Earlier they were hammered by MRH Sunrisers in the previous encounter this season, where Sunrisers came out 3-1 victory on April 11.
Playing at the ongoing Morning Premier league, Zakie found the net for MRH FC in the 38th minute, and doubled his tally in the 83rd minute, assisted by Imti, while Imti’s brace came in the 54th and 90th minute respectively.
The solitary goal for MRH Sunrisers came from the boots of Chuba who converted a spot kick in the 57th minute.
Despite the win, MRH FC with 24 points remained on 5th place and below Amur Falcon who has better goal difference, while Sunrisers are in 7th place with 16 points of the Morning Premier League table.
