DIMAPUR — Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir, along with Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto Dharam Raj and other officials, inspected the landslide-affected area along National Highway-702A at New Colony, Zunheboto, on Thursday.
During the visit, Jamir interacted with families affected by the landslide and took stock of the situation and the difficulties faced by the residents, a DIPR report stated.
He assured the affected families of extending all possible assistance and support from his side.
He also inspected the affected stretch of the highway and discussed the situation with the accompanying officials, emphasising the need for appropriate measures to address the situation and ensure the safety of affected residents and commuters.
