The Korean Culinary Arts & Science High School, Seoul South Korea led by its vice principal Park-Dong-Gyu, three teachers and eleven students organised a food and cultural exchange programme with the students and faculty of Mount Mary Higher Secondary School, Chumukdema .
The main objective of the Korean visit was to establish a culinary school in Nagaland so as to develop the students’ skills in a culinary art performance. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the Korean Culinary Arts &Science High School and Mount Mary Higher Secondary School Chumukdema for setting up a culinary school.
A cultural Naga traditional performance was displayed by the students of MHSS which was greatly admired and liked by the Korean delegation. The students of Korean Culinary Arts And Science High School also prepared Korean dishes which was tasted and loved by the students and local invitees.
