Dimapur, October 12 (EMN): Motorola has on Tuesday launched its affordable budget-friendly android device — the Moto E40 — in the Indian market.

The Moto E40 is priced at an affordable INR 9,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and comes in two colours: carbon gray and pink clay.

The Moto E40 comes with a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout that houses an 8MP selfie camera.

Powered by the Unisoc T700 SoC, the Moto E40 offers decent performance at a cheap price as the SoC is capable of light gaming and multitasking.

The device has a triple camera setup including a 48MP primary camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth camera.

Other notable features of the Moto E40 include a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging over USB-C, a headphone jack, dual-SIM (Nano) support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth v5.0 and GPS/ A-GPS.

The Moto E40 houses sensors that include an accelerometer, ambient light, proximity sensor and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

The phone is going on sale from October 17 via Flipkart.
