Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya visits Kachari Ruins and Durga Mandir in Dimapur.

DIMAPUR — Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, visited the historic Kachari Ruins and Durga Mandir in Dimapur on February 22.
According to a DIPR report, during her visit, the minister was received by members of the Kachari Rajbari Preservation Committee at the site, who briefed her on the historical background and significance of the Dimasa Kachari Ruins.
They explained the architectural features of the mushroom-shaped monoliths and highlighted the need for continued preservation and conservation of the heritage site.

Bambhaniya appreciated the efforts of the committee in safeguarding the historical monument and stressed the importance of protecting cultural heritage for future generations.
She also interacted with officials present during the visit and expressed admiration for the unique legacy of the Dimasa Kingdom reflected in the ruins.
She later visited Durga Mandir, where she offered prayer to Maa Durga and extended warm wishes, expressing happiness for their devotion and dedication. Thereafter, she proceeded to the airport for departure.
