‘Morung Fest’ volleyball tournament

EMN DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 15 All the participating teams of Morung Fest volleyball tournament have been requested to submit the forms at JN Aier College or Pencil Work Graphic before October 20. This was informed by the organizers in a release today. The prize money for the winner and runner-up of the tourney will be Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively, while winners of the individual prizes including - Best player, Best spiker and Best setter will also receive Rs 2000 each. The referees for the tournament are Repatemjen, Junior State volley coach as the chief referee, and include Ari Longchar, R Lima Longkumer and C Yanger Longchar. All the referees are associated with Dimapur District Volleyball Referee Association as members. It may be mentioned that the tournament is being organized in order to encourage and boost our (Naga) sports persons in the field of volleyball and to provide them a platform towards improving their skills and talents.
