More than 60K trees planted by 16 SBCC churches

Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): Secheku Baptist Church Council Theological Fellowship (SBCCTF) organised a two-day session at Sümi Baptist Church on March 27 and 28.

On the first day, Vevo K Dzudo shared about the activities of SBCCTF such as encouraging churches to have good library and to sponsor theological students adequately, an update informed.

It said that the SBCCTF initiated a tree plantation drive in all16 SBCC churches; more than 60 thousands trees had been planted by the churches, it added.

Rev. Dr. Yepetso Wezah, Auxiliary Secretary- BSI Dimapur Auxiliary and Dr. Khrotsoloü Wetsah, lecturer, Baptist Theological College Pfutsero gave presentations on the topics ‘heresy’ and ‘Christian nominalism’ respectively.

It further stated that the SBCCTF had resolved to “safeguard the ministry of God from the impending threat of ‘heresies’ by being well-equipped with the words of God and inculcate biblical doctrines in our churches.”

“SBCCTF resolved to break away with ‘nominalism’ that is prevailing in our church today. We therefore, recommit ourselves to ‘live out and witness Christ’ with the strength and authority from God,” it informed.
