Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): CNTC: The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) has vehemently condemned the dastardly shooting and the assassination bid made on one of its bonafide member Benri Mozhui, an executive officer of Nagaland State Agriculture Marketing Board on the night of May 8 at his residence in Duncan Basti by two miscreants. The CNTC demanded that a befitting action be taken on those perpetrators conniving with non-locals in our land which is an insult to all Nagas in trying to take the life of one of our brethren.
CNTC also warned sternly of those non-locals conniving with local people indulging in such behaviour and which will result in dire consequences. “Such armed intrusions inside our own homes by non-locals scheming with local people will never be taken lightly” added CNTC. The council also called upon all citizens, both overgrounds and undergrounds to stop patronizing anti-socials which is detrimental for a peaceful society. CNTC urged the authorities to investigate promptly into the incident and book those involved at the earliest. Further, CNTC conveyed its sympathy to the injured and prayed for a speedy recovery.
DDLGBU: Dimapur District Lotha GBs Union (DDLGBU) vehemently condemned the murder attempt on Benri Mozhui, an executive officer in the department of Nagaland State Agriculture Marketing Board at his residence Duncan Bosti at around 9 p.m. on May 8 by two unidentified miscreants including a non-Naga.
DDLGBU stated that such kind of inhumane act is unwanted in this civic society. The union also urge upon the law enforcing agencies to nab the culprits and punish them as per the law of the land so that such kind should not be repeated in the days to come.
DDGBA: Dimapur District GBs Association (DDGBA) has vehemently condemned the murder attempt on Benri Mozhui, a Naga officer by the unknown assailants on Monday night. “ It is a matter of great concern that the perpetrators could break into an officer’s house at just 9 pm and tried to kill the house owner, taking law so frivolously. And also the ongoing shameless trend of collaboration with non-Naga in crimes ventures which has gripped our society need to be deal with an iron hand” stated DDGBA.
The association urged Dimapur Police Department to exercise their power under the law without any hesitation and apprehend the culprits at the earliest.
