NPC: The members of Nagaland Peace Center (NPC), Kohima, have congratulated the State chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, on his victory in the recently concluded Parliamentary elections.
The NPC press statement issued by its chairman N Theyo and the executive Director Lhusi Haralu hoped that he would play a very significant role in the national politics in New Delhi to find out an honourable solution to the age-old Naga political problem.
“He is also fully aware of the long sufferings of Naga people because of unsolved Naga political problem. His charismatic and dynamic personality prevails upon the people of Nagaland because of his equi-closeness and cooperative nature. We are looking forward through your able leadership towards peace and prosperity,” the statement said.It has further prayed that the Almighty God would enable him in his endeavour and responsibilities.
NCP Mon: NCP Mon division general secretary (Admn), SN Anok Prince has congratulated the chief minister and DAN consensus candidate Neiphiu Rio on being elected to the 16th Lok Sabha with thumping majority. He has appreciated the four NCP legislators, NCP candidate from Tizit Hatpha Wangnao and all party functionaries for their hard work in their respective constituencies.
While describing Neipiu Rio as a vibrant, dynamic and visionary leader who is willing to sacrifice for the cause of the people, he expressed hope that Rio would bring about a positive change in the state, as well as in the northeast region and the country in general.
He has also congratulated TR Zeliang who has been chosen to be the new chief minister of Nagaland. He expressed hope that TR Zeliang would give extra emphasis for the uplift of genuine Naga entrepreneurs. He has further extended fullest cooperation to work together closely with the DAN alliance parties and to take Nagas to a new height of economic and development prosperity.
RH: The Rengma Hoho, while congratulating the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, for the success in the recent Lok Sabha election, has described him as a man of principal, strong determination, a dedicated political leader. It expressed hope that his joining the Parliament would benefit the people of Nagaland in particular and the northeast in general.
The Hoho president, Sawathang Kez Seb, has also congratulated TR Zeliang on being unanimously chosen as the new chief minister of Nagaland. It has extended best wishes and good health to both the leaders.
NGRC-I CU: Nagaland Government Registered Class-I Contractors Union (NGRC-I CU) has congratulated Neiphiu Rio on his landslide victory in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election. “The overwhelming figures that delivered such a clear verdict surely reflect faith and confidence in his charismatic leadership and in the party,” stated a release issued by the union president KC Angami.
Also congratulating TR Zeliang on being chosen as the next chief minister to head DAN III, the union stated that it looks forward to crucial economic and infrastructural development in all parts of the state with him as the chief minister. It also urged Zeliang to favour and support local contractors.
