Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of 17th Chizami unit has congratulated Temjen Imna Along Longkumer on being appointed as the president of BJP of Nagaland. A congratulatory note from the unit expressed confident in Longkumer’s leadership.
The unit hoped that the kind of trust placed upon Longkumer by the central leaders will inspire him to continue to promote unity in the party. Further, it added that such responsibility upon him will be able to help him lead the party to prosperity, well-being, and security of the people. The party wished him best in his duties and assured their full co-operation and dedication in the days to come.
Further, the party appreciated the People’ Democratic Alliance government led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and the Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton for assigning the chairman of Nagaland Empowerment of People through Energy Development (NEPeD) to Kevechutso Doulo.
The unit expressed its gratitude to the central leaders and BJP legislators for bestowing their trust in his leadership and wished Doulo success.
The party also expressed that it was honoured to work under the leadership of Visasolie Lhoungu, former president of Nagaland state BJP. The Mandal thanked him for the zeal that he has demonstrated towards the party.
BJMM: The Nagaland’s Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha (BJMM) congratulated Temjen Imna Along on being appointed as the State BJP President. The BJMM hopes that the party will grow and benefit under his leadership.
