Dimapur, May 21 : Public of Mopong Circle under Tobu sub-division has expressed displeasure over the government decision to transfer Mopong EAC headquarters and to be brought under SDO (C) Angjangyang without the consultation and consent of the public.
In view of the development, public and leaders of Mopong Hongkong village held a meeting on May 11 in Mopong town, wherein the house seriously discussed the matter and unanimously resolved that all the 11 villages including Mopong EAC HQ would remain under the administrative centre of ADC Tobu sub-division.
The public of Mopong Circle, through a press release issued by vice chairman of Adhoc Town Committee Mopong, appealed to the competent authority to reinstate EAC Mopong under ADC Tobu.
