Dimapur, Feb. 10 (EMN):  The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has announced that there will be monthly night carnival on the last Saturday and Sunday of every month in Kohima with an aim to boost the local economy, ‘bring nightlife’ and family outing to the state’s capital town.

The KCCI informed through a press release that forms issuance and submission will be opened from February 17 to the 20th, and interested vendors can contact the office of KCCI on any working day for registration.

It went on to say that preference will be given to permanent/ registered trade/ retailers willing to carry out stock clearance at discounted rates; to promote local SHGs/NGOs; government departments promoting SHGs and entrepreneurs, and home-based local entrepreneurs especially dealing with traditional ethnic food and local cuisines.

The 1st edition of KCCI monthly night carnival will commence on February 22 and will be extended till February 27 coinciding with the Angami Sekrenyi and Mini Hornbill.
