Mon’s planning board resolves to release LADP 2nd phase payment

Dimapur, April 30 (EMN): Mon District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting was held on April 30 in the deputy commissioner’s conference hall. The meeting was presided by advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, SIRD, Relief & Rehabilitation P Pohwang. DPRO updated on Monday. Addressing the meeting, the advisor who is also the chairman of DPDB Mon, said that the government is committed to provide timely service delivery to the citizens and requested all members to be regular and stay at station. Recommended during the meeting included extension of Longkhoho School, Tangnyu; registration for Highland Meadow Society, Aboi, and creation of border magistrate at ITC Longwa. The house resolved to release payments for those works which is completed and verified by the committee. Vice chairman DPDB, Thavaseelan K, who is also the deputy commissioner of Mon, requested all the members to cooperate for the successful conduct for the forth coming Lok Sabha bye election. Activities of EE PWD (R&B) department, Mon division was presented by executive engineer, G Vikhepu Yeptho while activities of DWO were given by Z Murie.
