Dimapur, September 19: The opening ceremony of the 1st Mon District Police Volley Ball and Carrom Board Tournament was held on September 19 at the local ground Mon, with DFO Mon, Aochuba, as the chief guest.
The chief guest in his speech appreciated the police department of Mon headed by SP, Mon for organising such a tournament. He said that this would help develop inter-personal relationship among one another. He said that it is also important to enhance inter-departmental relationship for good governance. He called upon the fellow police members to be accountable and transparent in decision making and to abide by all the rules for effective deliverance of service to the people.The programme was led by ASI, Latwang Konyak and SP, Mon, Yangba delivered the welcome note. Oath taking was led by SDPO, Tizit.
