Mon DPDB meeting held

DIMAPUR — The Mon District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Ajit Kumar Verma, the Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB Mon, at the DC's conference hall on March 26.

According to a report from DIPR, during the meeting, the DC urged all heads of offices to be well-prepared and effectively discharge their respective duties for the successful conduct of the upcoming general election to the Lok Sabha.

V Aron Sema, District Planning Officer in Mon, emphasised the high-level district development review (HLDDR) during the meeting, focusing on reviewing all development projects estimated above INR 1 crore in the district.

During discussions on the proposal for aid for new desks and benches for the Government Higher Secondary School, Tizit, the house decided to forward it to the chairman of DPDB Mon.
