Dimapur, Sep. 5 (EMN): The Mon District Badminton Association (MDBA) gave recognition to a number of badminton players for their performance at the inter-district and state open badminton championship and the Mon district veteran open badminton tournament that was held during Aug. 30-31. The chairman of district sports council Thavaseelan K who was the patron, contributed cash awards to the players.
A note from the group on Wednesday stated that the chairman, also the deputy commissioner of Mon, congratulated the team winners. He has promised to renovate the courts in the indoor badminton stadium at Mon, the update stated.
