Mokokchung town gets city bus

Dimapur, Jan. 25 (EMN): To facilitate commuters of Mokokchung town, Nagaland State Transport (NST) department has announced to introduce Mokokchung city bus with effect from January 26. According to a press release issued by the NST general manager, the identified city bus stoppage and pick-up point from Government Higher Secondary School junction to Mokokchung DEF and vice versa are Higher Secondary School Junction/ public local ground (0 km), Arkong ward junction (2 km), police point (3 km), Tongdensuyong (4 km), Sungkomen (5 km), Kapayong (5 km), Woodland Nursing Home (6 km), Fazl Ali College junction (7 km), Chuchyimpang (8 km), and Mokokchung DEF (9 km). The identified city bus stoppage and pick-up from town square (police point) to ISBT Khensa and vice versa are police point (0 km), New market (1 km), IOC, Yimyu junction (2 km), and ISBT Khensa (4 km). It stated that INR 5 would be charged upto 2 km, INR 10 upto 10 km, and INR 15 upto 10 km. It further added that the city bus service would operate from 6 am to 6 pm.
